Our organization have both management and technical teams as well as contracted professional experts in agriculture and livestock sectors, training, animal health and value chains.
Our organization was established in 2015 as a legally registered NGO and we are working as a Think Tank to find solutions for agriculture sector, especially in the field of livestock development, introduction of innovation and finding pathways for tackling challenges. In doing this we have 3 initial focus activities.
Hands-on practical and in-house trainings for capacity building of herders and farmers. Field work is carried out under our Livestock Production Technology Training Programme, which was developed in cooperation with government and non government organizations in 2009 and the programme was further enriched in 2018. The practical trainings are conducted with thematic contents and methodologies by professional experts based in trainees level of skills.
MoSARD-Club meetings are monthly basis with like-minded experts in the sectors. We deliver thematic presentations and discussions. The Club meeting is actively participated by multi-stakeholders including government, NGOs, international organizations, their projects, industry associations, academia, research institutes, herders, farmers and buyers. The monthly meetings are recorded, incorporated in national recommendations and implemented.
We aim to facilitate strengthening of partnerships and professional relationships between government, herders and farmers. We provide and share necessary information with them, help identify challenges and issues and developing science based database.
